Hi,

I hope you are all fine.

I just subscribed to a 150mbps Internet plan, but I am not getting above 95mbps on my Laptop. But I checked the speed on my friend's laptop (it's the latest laptop) it was showing almost 150 MBPS speed.

Why is it so? Is it because of my laptop?

My Laptop's Specifications:

Microprocessor2 GHz Intel Core i3-5005U with Intel HD Graphics 5500
Microprocessor Cache3 MB cache, 2 cores
Memory4 GB DDR3L-1600 SDRAM (1 x 4 GB)
Video GraphicsIntel HD Graphics 5500

Hard Drive1 TB 5400 rpm SATA

Network CardIntegrated 10/100 BASE-T Ethernet LAN

Wireless Connectivity802.11b/g/n (1x1) and Bluetooth 4.0 combo

Operating System:
Windows 10 Home (64-bit)

Thanks for the help.

Yes it's due to you having a 802.11n card the fastest they can get to is about 100MBs if you want faster you will need to upgrade to a 802.11ac
