My specs are really good. I have I7, Evga Geforce gtx 760 Superclocked, and 16 gigabytes of ram. I should be able to run most games at over 60fps with maximum settings, yet I can't run most games at 60fps with even lowest settings. All my drivers are up to date and I don't think anything is overheating. Does anyone have any ideas?

Solution
Alright, if the CPU is hitting 3.5ghz while playing games then it is fine. If it only stays at 1ghz you have a problem.

What internet speeds do you have?

Does windows recognize all your RAM?

Alright well I just suspect I'm not getting what I should because Nividia Geforce Experience recommends high settings on most games but I get low fps when I do that.

I play in native 1920x1080

Here are the games I usually play
CS:GO 45-55 FPS (Some settings high some settings low)
Minecraft 35 FPS (medium settings)
Natural Selection 2 35 FPS (low settings)
League Of Legends 40-70 FPS (Medium settings)
Dayz 20-30 FPS (Lowest settings possible)

I also know that I'm not getting what I should because I have friends that can play with higher settings and still get more fps than me.

Also I don't know if this helps but I load games a lot slower than most people too.

Ok, there is a problem then, I have a 670, which is essentially a 760 and can get much better fps on higher settings.

Could you get the haven benchmark and run that to compare directly, go for a 1080 preset benchmark.

Also could you check your temps while running the benchmark, it could be that you are hitting a thermal throttle on CPU or GFX (but my god I hope its not the gfx throttle or you could cook an egg in your case)

A gtx760 will not max all games at 60fps. Plain and simple. Whoever told you that lied. A gtx770 won't even max every game.

your GPU simply isn't strong enough for maxing all games. Sorry man.

Yes I recommend a BIOS update as ALOT of boards do not support th3 700 cards on the old BIOS versions.

I actually did extremely good
FPS:
62.4
Score:
1571
Min FPS:
7.4
Max FPS:
143.3
This was on high settings. I don't understand why I can't get this in games.

Well I updated the BIOS, don't notice any difference. I know not all games will run on 60fps. But there's almost no games I can run at 60 FPS even with medium settings. I have friends with worse specs that run on high settings and get more FPS than me. I don't know if this helps but I also lot a lot slower than them too and when I first built the computer it would freeze in games sometimes, but it doesn't do that anymore.

What games are we talking about? That benchmark is OPTIMIZED for GPUs. IF you are talking about something like Arma 3 or Dayz, not even an i7 with two 780s will get max settings at 60fps.

your benchmark scores are correct for that GPU, so the card is not broken.

What resolution are you playing at?

I play in native 1920x1080

CS:GO 45-55 FPS (Some settings high some settings low)
Minecraft 35 FPS (medium settings)
Natural Selection 2 35 FPS (low settings)
League Of Legends 40-70 FPS (Medium settings)
Dayz standalone 20-30 FPS (Lowest settings possible)
Watchdogs 40 FPS (Low settings) (~25 when driving a car)

My friends play the same games with I5 8GB of ram and a worse GPUs They get 100+ fps in csgo with max settings ~200 fps in minecraft on max settings 60+ fps in NS2 with max settings 100 fps on league with max settings and 60fps on dayz standalone with medium settings. So I know I should be getting more.
I don't know how accurate Nividia Geforce Experience is but when I use it's recommended settings for Dayz it's unplayable and some other games are really hard to play

What program should I use to test this?

Looks like that's not it
Core 1: 40
2: 38
3: 38
4: 40

I figured it wouldn't because if it was it would slowly get worse over time right? I have low fps as soon as the game starts. Also it takes me over a minute to load cs:go which is obviously too long. I'm almost always the last one in and I'm pretty sure I don't have worse specs than almost everyone that plays CS:GO. My CPU max speed is 3.5 GHz. I don't think it went above even 1 while playing

I have charter 30MB/s
I'd like to note that my previous computer which wasn't a gaming computer loaded games faster although it had terrible FPS in game.
Windows does recognize all my ram 16gb (15.9 usable) I used memtest86 for 24 hours and got no errors
Performance tab on task manager it says Speed is normally .74. I can get it to 1.18 when opening stuff
I can even have more than 1 game open without it going over 1.
Also I noticed having two games open at once didn't effect either's performance if that matters
Found max frequency says 21%

THANK YOU. I figured it out because of you telling me to look into maximum frequency. I had power saver selected. Changed it to high performance
FIXED THANK YOU SO MUCH
