Hello everyone,

So i built arround a year ago a new setup :

CPU Ryzen 7 3800x
GPU Aorus 2080s
2 x 16 GB ram 3200 (one just got to RMA so for now its 1x 16 at 3200)
MB : x570 AORUS Pro WIFI
SSD 1 x 500GB NVME (Mainly for Windows and main apps.
SSD 1 x 1TB NVME for games
PSU ; HX750 Corsair
Monitor 1 AORUS AD27QD
Monitor 2 AOC G2770PQU

For some reason my computer feel really sluggish. I feel like i'm getting always lower than 60 FPS on both screens in-game even on the desktop.
(Even with 144hz tuned on) Tried V sync on/off GSync (onoff)
If i put them both to 60 hz they feel like 30.

In-Game, i mostly run my CPU at 20-40% and GPU at arround 50-70% depending on games
I tried CoD BOCW and got 100% GPU and getting arround 100 fps but still feel sluggish.

In games, i could get 80-90 fps in games and it feel like 45-50. (my gpu only use 40% at this time.) and 144hz feel like 60-80

It really start to frustrate me. I tried several things that i found on the internet but none of them have work so far.

It would be nice if someone could help me out here.

Thank you!

Ryzen cpus are known to be very sensitive to ram performance.
Since you have lost one of your ram modules, your ram is operating in single channel mode now (instead of dual channel mode before).
This halves available ram bandwidth. And system performance is severely impacted.

As stated above: just wait until you get the RMA RAM back and check performance then.

Did you buy the RAM as a kit?
Yes it was a ki of 32 GB
i have 2 other module at home (2x8gb at 3000)
If i add them will it be a little better or should i wait for my other module to come back?

Thank you,
