Hello everyone, I am writing this thread on my internet speed. My dad paid for 250-300mb/s wifi. I did a speed test on my computer and it said my download speed is around 240 mb/s, however, I'm currently downloading Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 (132gb), and I'm only getting 40mb per second. My ethernet is plugged into my computer, so I'm confused as to how I'm not getting the 250mb/s when downloading Call of Duty.

Downloads are in megabytes/second (MB). Internet speed is megabits/second (Mb) == 8bits in a byte. So 40MB/s is more than the 240Mb you are paying for.
