Not going to overclock

Could you guys suggest me which motherboard is best for i5-6600 processor, i am going with a Nvdia GTX 970 4gb card, can i stick to H170 chipsets or move to Z170 chipsets?

The high end Z170 boards generally come with more features such as more supported overclocking. However if you're not going too overclock a H170 will be fine.

Does H170 support ddr4 2400Mhz ram and what are the benefits of ddr4 2400Mhz ram over the ddr4 2133Mhz ram?

Yes, it should however you should check the compatibility list on the motherboard your getting.

However in the benefits side of this the practical performance would be the same. So get whatever is cheapest.
