Will you consider FX 6300 over i5 4440?

Programs mostly run by this PC are internet browsers, ms office, chat, disk caching / file sharing.

Will these programs run faster on i5 4440 or FX 6300?

Oh yes, the current gen i3 processors are little speed demons for what they are. Relative had me build them a new computer with an i3-4340 and man is it fast for how much it cost.

There is no point in buying the FX-6300 for what you need really. The i3 while it is only dual core has stronger cores and supports hyperthreading which is a nice bonus.

Also, Intel HD Graphics 4600 aren't half bad if you don't need a beast of a graphics card. Heck, I'm using them primarily while I wait for my new Graphics Card and I'm not having any issues.

I guess it would be better to get a 4 core processor nowadays. Am I correct?

Im experiencing 100% load on cpu during dvd burning or even extracting / installing huge programs like games

Currently using 4gb ram DDR2-800, Intel Dual Core 2.5ghz, Palit GT430 1gb gpu

Sure the i5 4440 would be better, but the i3 4130 is no slouch. It's WAAAAAAAAAY faster than your current dual core. It has hyperthreading too which helps out a lot with everyday tasks. My best advice is get an i3 and an ssd to install windows on. Your PC will be very fast.

i3 4130 is same price as FX 6300 with 6 cores.

Does than mean i3 4130 is better than FX 6300 since you recommend it?
