[SOLVED] Not much GPU usage on some games

Hello all,

I have a GTX 1080 which has been running great on my 1440p monitor which is only 60hz. I mainly play fortntie, gears of war 4, and madden 19. When I play fortnite, everything seems to run just fine and I use roughly 90-98% of my gpu, but I decided to jump on gears of war 4 after a while and got great fps while playing on 1440p and ultra settings, but noticed that my GPU didn't have any usage.. My CPU was at like 20-30% and my memory usage was at 30-40%. GOW4 is supposed to be GPU bound. Is this normal for certain games? Nothing seemed to be overheating or running warm and the game ran smooth as butter.

Did you enable v-sync for GOW4?

Looks fine to my relatively untrained eye- that microATX motherboard will look a little lonely in a full tower case, but functionally it should be just fine.

Sounds to me like you have a setup that works fine, there's definitely nothing to be worrying about if you're getting good frames and low usage.

Did you enable v-sync for GOW4?

I tried it with and without v-sync enabled. There wasn't any difference for the game using any of the GPU.
