So I bought a ASUS GeForce rtx 2060 super to replace msi rx 480 gaming x 8gb card. I unplugged the card, unscrewed it then took it off the clip on the motherboard (MSI B350 Gaming Pro). Then I plugged in the RTX 2060 Super, the pc turned on but my peripherals and displays will not respond to the computer.

After trying to boot with the old graphics card it still did not post.

I tried taking the CMOS battery waiting a bit, then putting it back in. I tried turning off the pc, unplugging it, holding the power button then plugging it in but still no luck.
pls help

Ryzen 5 1600X
Msi RX 480 Gaming x 8gb (old card)
ASUS GEFORCE RTX 2060 Super DUAL OC (new card)
Msi B350 Gaming Pro
2x 8GB Crucial Ram sticks
EVGA 500W PSU
Samsung 1tb SSD

Solution
Both cards are fully compatible so it's gotta be something else like a power issue or PCIe slot not making complete contact, restricted by debris or card not pressed down enough. Or PCIe cable not plugged right, check psu side of the cable.
