Not POSTing and no signal from GPU/Motherboard

Hey there, just plugged in my PC parts for the first time, and they don't seem to be working very well. I am not getting any video output from my motherboard or from my GPU to my monitor. The motherboard and fans all light up, but the GPU does not want to turn on and I am getting no response on the monitor no matter what I do. I am running this system:

MSI RX580 8GB GPU
AMD Ryzen 5 1500X
Corsair Vengeance DDR4-3000 (2x4GB)

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How do you have your monitor connected to the motherboard/gpu?
