Not recognising tablet as 2nd monitor? Please help!

I just bought a Ugee 1910b drawing tablet, and installed the drivers, but my laptop won't recognise it as a second monitor
(apparently it has to be mirrored to work.)
If it's a factor it connects via a
VGA cord, run through a VGA to hdmi adapter. I tried it on a second laptop, w/o the adapter, but still nothing please help, my sanity is slowly slipping ....😀

Are you using an active HDMI to VGA adapter? My guess is you aren't. That display also has a DVI port you may be better off using an HDMI to DVI adapter as a simple(and cheap) passive adapter will work as both are digital.

uhhh, ACTIVE adapter?.....I don't know what that means. I know a bit but not much....This is it

Does it have a micro usb port on the back of the adapter? If it does do you have a usb cable plugged into it(required to power the adapter).

The adapters just VGA on one end with a HDMI cable coming out the other side :/

That sounds like a passive adapter and will only work on specialized HDMI ports. Where the display has a dvi port I suggest using a hdmi to dvi cable or adapter as it will be cheaper than an active hdmi to vga adapter/converter.

Sorry for coming back, but I just realised I already tried it on a second laptop, so I didn't need the adapter, it was vga to vga, and it still didn't work?

Just one last message with a few questions and I'll leave you be 😛
The 2nd laptop was pretty old, so would it be the video card (full disclosure, no idea what this is), or would it be the source control (again, no idea) I've heard people mention both these things in relation. But if not then....oh well. Thanks for you help!!!

The age of the system shouldn't of mattered, it may have not support the displays resolution but you should have got some sort of display.
