[SOLVED] Not seeing the 5v rail

So i opened up hwinfo and saw the motherboard section seems like there is only 12v and 3.3v rails, then i checked the bios the same thing there is no 5v rail but the pc is working fine should i worry?

my motherboard is : z77 d3h rev 1.2

Reading voltages from software is not how you should be reading voltages.

If there was no 5v power your PC would most likely not turn on.

So i should not be worried? but i have read it from bios too

No. Don't bother reading PSU voltages unless you are using a multimeter

ok thanks because i have seen other people bios the same gigabyte one but i don't know if it is the same board showing the 5v thanks anyway

Maybe the layout got changed? You can restore the original order with a button on the settings->layout panel

did that the same thing even it doesn't show the 5v in bios

board sensor seams not to be detected because it should appear under the vvt over the 3.3 volt readings so everything is ok .

ok thanks i was worried for a while because before i got this psu the 5v was showing but on another motherboard

if this board still under warranty you might try the rma if you want .

haha rma? this board have been manufactured in 2012 and i got it used for a good price i don't think so

I don't know why you would bother rma the board.

If the voltages the PSU was outputting were out of spec any decent PSU would shut down.

No. Again I really don't see any issue nor reason to look at the voltages in software as they are usually inaccurate.
