Turned on my laptop following it being used by a colleague for the past couple of days. My laptop normally connects to the work WiFi network automatically but is currently not showing a connection to this. any suggestions?

Solution
If it is a Windows laptop, I would go into the network control panel, manage wireless networks, then delete your network. Restart and let it find your network again, enter your security key and check the box to automatically connect.

This assumes that your laptop wifi is turned on and your router wireless is working (I expect you have already checked both).
