Not sure about my rig (NEED HELP)

It's my first build and I'm pretty unsure about the case, the power supply and the motherboard. I got the processor and the video card with fat sales and I'm trying to build the rest around them.
Also I don't know which monitor would be the best for my gig, as I understand 1080 might be too low. I am still planning to get one with 144hz though, but 1440p ones are very pricy.

the reason I got the ti is cause it cost me 600$, cheaper than a gtx 1070
as for the cpu, isn't an i7 just better in this case ?
also the seagate for storage was an sshd, which I thought was a good idea to get instead of a simple hard drive for better load times
as for the monitor, yeah, I'll probably just get that because of my overpowered video card
you also didn't include a cooling system, which was one of my main worries : should I get liquid or fans ?

8400 is fine with stock cooler. 7th gen i7 or 8th gen i5, is up to you. close performance in gaming. 8th gen I7 will be better if you have the budget.
for 7700k, noctua NH-D15 or h100i v2/kraken x62 are all good.

definitely not that sshd, 5400 is too slow and small ssd embedded is not worth it. Put game and OS on samsung SSD will be very fast. Seasonic focus point is much better than Corsair TXM. g.skill ripsaw is better ram too.

go to a shop and try curved out. You'd better get a gsync monitor.
