[SOLVED] Not sure if ssd is in use

so i got a new ssd today and because of the size being 240gb ive not decided to make it my boot drive. Rather ill just have it to load games and stuff quicker, although when i click on my pc the drive doesnt show hwoever when i go on Disk management it says i have 240gb of unallocated space and that usualy happens when their is a drive avaliable but i dont think its in use because its not in my pc. the only thing ive installed for it was the ssd manager that i was told to download when i got the ssd, the ssd shows up there and says that everythings fine but how do in find if im using it or not?

Please show us a screencap of your Disk Management window.

But if it says "Unallocated"...you're not using it yet.

Right click on that Unallocated space.
What options does it give you?

"New Simple Volume" probably. Select that.

yes that option is there.. click that then what?

Click, and use the entire space for that new volume.
After that, follow the prompts and give it a drive letter.
