Hi. I recently boughta Sapphire x850xt from ebay. It's fitted with an arctic silencer etc
Anyway when running oblivion in certain cities i am only getting about 10 fps. The graphic settings are what the game automatically detected. Is that right. Is oblivion too much for my card?
I have a p4 3.6GHz, 1GB RAM

I only have things like avg antivirus and spyware doctor running. I know spyware doctor can take up a lot of memory sometimes but it wasn't at the time. The game put everything on top settings apart from water quality is on normal and shadows on grass was off.

yturn down the settings. i never trust those automatic setting choices.

This is true. Adjust your graphics driver settings so that AA & AF are on App Prefrence, and play around with your Oblivion in game settings.

Remember that Oblivion plays like shit on most high end computers, just get whatever you can with your system and be happy, or just do what I did and quit playing the game all together, because it isnt very good anyways :tongue:

download atitool and make sure you acctually have what you bought, i dont trust ebay. Good Luck

yes it is the x850xt. It has 16 pipes and the right core and mem speeds
