So all my parts from my computer have all been bought from Amazon and are arriving tomorrow. I'm quite happy with most of them. However, I'm having some buyer's remorse regarding the motherboard. I thought I done enough research on this, this is actually my first PC build but I came across two reviews that are a bit concerning. Basically, they were saying that you can't overclock the RAM past 3200 with a non k variant which is fine. However, I also read on a few sites that the heating isn't supposed to be very good, and I'm not sure if it's going to be good enough for a 12700 under high loads rendering and editing. I will be streaming and I will be doing some editing and rendering for YouTube content creation. I just want a motherboard that will allow me to do this, has enough features and ports and will allow me to upgrade in the future. If people do not think this board is good enough can they let me know? So I'm not stuck with something that wont do what i need done. Can they recommend something that will? I will link the two reviews that I am talking about I just need a board that is good enough for YouTube content creation and for Twitch streaming and that we'll be able to handle the 12 700 under a fair amount of load and temp.

Being thinking of switching for MAG Z690 TOMAHAWK but not sure if i need to or if the tomahawk is good enough. wont being oc cpu.

That's a solid board and with the proper cpu cooling will allow you to run that cpu with the power limits turned off. Here's a few money savers and btw that Phanteks psu down below is manufactured by Seasonic.

thats what i was worried about. So i can increase watts on mobo then for better performance (rendering etc) from stock 65w on my 12700.

Hey, I just want to make sure of some stuff. Regarding 660m mag mortar is this motherboard good enough to keep my CPU in PL2 instead of PL1? What I mean is basically can I turn up the wattage to my CPU from my motherboard unlimited to increase performance or will it revert back in a few minutes on the weaker boards/non z boards or is this board sufficient enough? Knowing this will help me pull the trigger on this board or if I need to replace it with a Z 690 tomahawk. I won't be overclocking but I'm not sure if the Z690 would be better for rendering or any other content creation stuff.
Is the b660 good enough for 12700 under high work loads or something lower like a 12400? The vrms good enough to keep it cool? Two reviews i found have thrown me off

worth noting that the parts are already bought and pretty much on the way. So I would have to go through the hassle of returning stuff

Want as work station you tube and twitch streaming content.
