(hey, im new pc gaming and any help would be much appreciated)
I'm looking to get into pc's and saw a pc for sale as low to medium specs, after taking a look i thought it looked ok, but i think it might be a good pc if i was to put a better GPU in it?
i was also wondering if the cpu is still ok for moderate gaming

Solution
That processor can overclock to 4.6 GHz on air alone. With liquid cooling and some luck you might be able to get it up to about 5 GHz. This PC comes with liquid cooling. You are right about the graphics card, it is much weaker than the processor. I recommend a 1070 or a 1070 Ti if you plan on overclocking the chip to the max you can go (With safe temps and stability) The amount of memory is odd, but it shouldn't cause any issues. I would recommend you buy two 8 GB sticks versus those three (or four) 4 GB sticks, two channels of memory overclock better than three or four channels.

In a more simple sense: That PC is a hell of a bargain. an i7-3770K is not a bad chip at all, with 4 cores and 8 threads, It will act almost like a 6 core...

I speak from experience - I own a i7-3770K system, and it runs grand theft Auto at 100 FPS at max settings with the graphics card bottlenecking it because I have a R9 Fury 4G in it instead of the 1070 or 1070 ti. Mine is overclocked on air at 4.6 GHz.
