Hello guys !

This week i upgraded to a RTX 3080 and decided i should most likely upgrade my display as well at this point.
Sadly at the moment im in a bit of a binder as i can either get a 1080p at 144hz or a 1440p at 75hz or 120z(at best) display.
I know i should be going way over that with such a GPU but until next summer comes this are my best options, considering im at 1080p 60hz at the moment only.

I don't really play any competitive games or strongly FPS, i play honestly mostly open world games, and at the moment only 1 FPS really(not much of an FPS guy).

Pretty mixed feelings between people on the internet on what to go for, also im not sure if i should go down to 24 inches display as im currently at 27 and maybe
that will give a bit extra ability to go 144hz on a 1440p or i should stick to a 27 inches form factor.

Any advice will be welcomed and i thank you beforehand! Also despite not being US based im still happy to see display models recommendations!

Solution
27 for 1440 24 for 1080, that's my 2 cents. If you don't care about fps just get 1440 27 inch. If you do then Asus VG279AQ is a good option. That's my $0.02

Thanks for the recommend, i understand the 27 to 24, the problem is displays such as Asus VG279AQ are 1440p, 165hz , which raises quite much in price. I can only go as far as 1080p 144hz or 1440p 75hz price wise, anything above in the 1440p spectrum raises the price quite a bit from what i can see.

Well if you really don't care about FPS I don't see why you shouldn't go for 1440p 60/75hz even. And there are cheaper 1440p 144 monitors with not so great stands such as the Acer Nitro models
