Hello, so here is my dilemma. I have $800 I've got to spare to upgrade my pc more. Now my problem is I'm not sure what I want to upgrade on it. My ideas at first was wait and get the R9 290x then sale both my current 670's and buy another. That way I have 2 in crossfire, but with the 780ti coming out I could do the same with it. Another idea has crossed my mind I have a i5 3570k and I play a lot of mmo's and such, and my current GTX 670 sli set up allows me to already run BF4 at 90+ fps full ultra. I could upgrade my cpu to i7 4930k and also get a new mobo. What do you all feel would be the biggest performance increase out of this? thank you

To be perfectly honest, I'm not sure any of these upgrades really give you much in the way of bang for the buck. For gaming, you're already in the zone of diminishing marginal returns. Do you have substantial non-gaming needs that would fully utilize the benefit of a 4930k over a 3570k?

It doesn't look like you really need to upgrade. I would save the money for when you do. The 3570k is still a great cpu, and 2 670's are still very capable. I would wait till Nvidia releases Maxwell for a GPU upgrade, and the CPu should be good for atleast another year.

I was thinking of getting into streaming some if I got the i7. I'm also going to school to do graphics design so at some put I'll need a i7 for the hyper threading but I could wait a year on it.
