Hey I have a HP midtower with windows 8 that stopped turning on recently. I replaced the power supply thinking it was that and it still wont turn on. All that happens is the fans spin for like 2 seconds and stop.No lights nothing. I tried to plug it in by itself and still nothing. What else could it be? Could the Hard Drive or the Ram stop it from starting??

No worries, Brian. 😀

The speaker would go somewhere here on your board:

...but it looks like your board has one that's built-in.

If your board isn't beeping already the speaker may be busted (less likely) or buzzer beeping may be disabled in BIOS (more likely.)

However, if you're able to turn on your computer but it shuts down by itself soon after (without letting you go into BIOS) it may be a CPU issue rather than a RAM issue. I've worked with boards...
No problem - this could be classified as "system."

If you have a spare motherboard speaker (4-pin, tiny speaker) you could attach it to the motherboard and listen for a possible beep code that would tell you your problem.

If not, disconnect all drives and see if you can boot to BIOS.

I disconnected my HD and CDROM/DVD Drive and I even took the ram out and still it wont start... Im guessing the Processor is bad. Im gonna buy a mobo speaker to be sure so I know

If you take the ram out ofcourse it wont start you haven to put some working RAM in there and just put the HDD back in there there is no problem with that

Careful where you buy the speaker; some sellers will charge you double the money for a single speaker compared others who will sell them in bulk for half the price of one.

For example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA2RP0YW4962&cm_re=motherboard_speaker-_-9SIA2RP0YW4962-_-Product
30 pieces for $5.40.
