Greetings, fellow earthlings.

I’m here to get a second opinion.
I just bought something new for the first time in 9 years, a GPU, a Gigabyte nVidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super OC for my ROG Asus Maximus VI Formula.

It’s been 5 years since I’ve taken the side of my case off and I don’t recognise anything in there anymore, namely the PSU, it’s huge and complicated.

The power supply is a Silverstone 1500w (ST1500) Modular,
I have 4 cables with 8 pins (6+2) each cable is labeled as follows;
6+2 Pin (PCI) +12v5 Express
6+2 Pin (PCI) +12v6 Express
6+2 Pin (PCI) +12v7 Express
6+2 Pin (PCI) +12v8 Express
Each cable has a corresponding entry point on the power supply. I don’t know which cable I should plug into the GTX 1660 and I can’t find any documentation to help me find out.
Are they all the same, just numbered according to the cables place on the PSU?

Anyone familiar with this issue?
Cheers 🙏

I presume all the 6+2 Pin (PCI) cables are same. You can use any one of them for your GPU. Your card only requires a SINGLE 8-PIN PCI/PEG connector.

Since you have a multi-rail PSU this shouldn't be a problem, because each of the cables just fit into a different entry point of the PSU.

Thanks so much Messiah. I really appreciate it. 🙏
