I have a dell xps 630 with windows 7 on it and when it goes to sleep it can not be woke up. It wont wake from keyboard and mouse or from pushing the power button. It wont even turn off if i hold the power button, i have to unplug it. Any ideas.

Solution
Ya, I could turn off sleep but would like to know what it is. Is it my BIOS or something in window 7. its done it with build 6801, 6956, & the new 7000 so im thinking it may be a BIOS thing cause MS probably would have something like that fixed by now.

Solution
I know the solution in Vista is to remove the powersources, battery and cord, and push the powerbutton for 15 seconds. That worked when I had a simular problem on my mothers notebook. Since Windows 7 is supposed to be simular to Vista I guess it's worth a try 😉

I wanted to turn it on so the computer would sleep and save some money but for now I guess i will leave the sleep off. When the bata starts i will submit a bug report on it to both dell and MS. I tried holding the power button, it doesn't do anything.
