not working properly

I recently bought a zotac gtx 1050 ti oc edition to bring my pc back to life, I install the driver and gpu fine but when I restart my pc no boost in fps or anything, device manager says that my gpu is working but its not, its all detected and says its fine but its not doing anything except displaying stuff onto my monitor. my pc has an AMD A6-6400k, gigabyte F2A68HM-HD2 mobo, 8GB of DDR3 ram with a 1TB hard drive powered by an EVGA 500W psu, can anyone help me

What games are you trying to play and at what resolution and in-game settings? What was you GPU prior to the GTX1050Ti? You should also remove the APU/AMD GPU drivers on your system and only have the chipest drivers onboard.
