Right now, I am torn between a couple of business laptops. My business needs are not demanding at all (spreadsheets, etc), but I want something with a lot of gaming muscle and something I can do some light HD video editing with. My choices right now are the ATI x1600, NVidia Quadro NVS 120M, Quadro FX 350M, and the Quadro FX 1500. I know that the X1600 is about equal to a Geforce 7600. How do these Quadros compare for gaming? Any references?

Quadros are terrible for gaming, and the X1600 would be a better choice for video editing because of it's AVIVO features. Those Quadros aren't a great choice for those 2 applications, they are better for proffesional 3D apps like Maya and 3DSmax, and that would be because of optimized drivers not raw power.

For what you are doing either the Mobility Radeon X1600 or GF7600GO would be your bests bets.
