I have a 6 year old Huawei that briefly shows a black screen with coding being processed - usually when I start a program, sometimes when I go to a website (but not all programs or not all websites). I know.....notebooks are cheap, but I would like to take this opportunity to learn more about the hardware in notebooks - maybe crack one open and play around. I am very comfortable building a desktop - have never bought an assembled desktop - but never taken a notebook apart. It is still the same install of Win 10, an i5 with 16gb of ram and 500 gb memory disk (maybe mr.2). Does anyone know what is going on?

My sister had a HP i7 1065g7 (2019 CPU) laptop that also has black screen and stuttering issue, I tried everything from installing different version of OS Win10=Win11 and Linux, different versions of drivers and the issue persisted, nothing worked She decided to trashed it after brought it back to her home a few months later. 🙁

It seems the issue is across several brands with same 10th gen graphics, if you have the same gen CPU, I would suggest turn it into a server/NAS. Well, a Windows desktop OS can work as a NAS by simply sharing a folder,
