Notebook with gaming capabilities for college

I cannot decide between these two notebooks for college. I want a portable laptop that has gaming capabilities as well. I've looked around and I've narrowed down my search to two laptops.

Sager np7339
13.3" FHD screen
I7-4710mq
Gtx 960m
8gb ram
1TB 7200rpm
Its about $1000

Gigabyte p34k
14" FHD screen
I7-4720 hq
Gtx 965m
8gb ram
1 TB 7200 + 128gb SSD
its about $1300

I just cannot decide which on. I like the price of the sager but I think a 13" screen is too small, Which is why I like the gigabyte because I think a 14" is perfect. I've done my research on the brands and have seen many reviews so I trust the brands and the seller.

The processors for both laptops give the same performance benchmarks, the SSD mostly benefits gamers, and people who use programs that take awhile to load up. Since you are a gamer, you need a larger screen and faster bootup/application launch times.
