Hi!

My computer started sending no image sometime ago, I've already tried other motherboard, other PSU and both the monitor and the HDMI cable are functional.

However, on the old motherboard, the cpu didn't get hot (it looks like it didn't even worked) and on the new one it gets really hot but still no image on the screen.

My specs:
Windows 7
CPU: Intel Core i3-4160 CPU @ 3.60GHz
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 WindForce 2GB
Motherboard: ASUS H81M-P
PSU: XFX 650w TS
RAM: 3x 2GB DDR3

What can I do? I have no chances of getting another CPU instead of buying another one, which will be pretty hard for me.

Thanks for your help!

Solution
To get a PC to POST (BIOS screen)
All you need and all you should use to test it is the following:
1. Working Motherboard
2. Supported CPU with sufficient heatsink
3. Minimum amout of ram (which sockets to use, the amount to use, so forth are defined by your motherboard)
4. A working PSU compatible with your other components
5. Video out (technically not needed to POST, but needed for you to see it)
and nothing else.
Unplug all the drives, all other cards, all plugs (USB, audio, etc).

Watch the fans, do they spin? If so you probably have enough going on to post if everything is connected right.
Check to make sure the GFX card has aux power (assuming it requires it).

Swapping out parts randomly is not testing. It is trying to get...

Swapping out parts randomly is not testing. It is trying to get lucky. Instead try to verify what is or is not working by process of elimination.

Next try to get the other components tested. Since the simplest test is to use a working PC to get the components. Use a friends PC to see if your video card, HDMI cable and Monitor are working.

Test your ram in a compatible system. Only need to get to BIOS screen.

If the RAM, PSU, GFX, Mon, HDMI Cable all post then it is either your CPU or motherboard.
