Nothing showing in tv when connected to hdmi

Friends,
Have a hd6670 graphics card.Bought a hdmi to hdmi connector and tried to hook to a 32 inch tv.Nothing comes on tv and as well as display is not detected in pc.Help!!!

You have the drivers installed? Do you switch to HDMI on your TV ? Is the resolution perfect ? Check all 3 parameters and let me know.
