Nothing under "My Threads" - is there a problem with my account?

Hi all - I've just posted 2 questions but I notice that by clicking "My Threads" (or "Favourite Topics) doesn't bring anything up. Is there any way to find my threads please?

Thanks.

Hey,

I can see your threads if I click on your username, then click "access all of his messages."

Perhaps you never added those threads to your favorites?

Justin

For some reason when you posted, the threads didn't automatically list in your "My Threads" section. What you can do is go to the thread and hit the little Heart + icon at the top right to add it to your list of bookmarked threads to easily find it next time.

Thanks - but looking at this thread I don't have a little heart icon there... ?!

I don't know if this is related but I also can't edit my own posts; I'm always told I don't have permission. Would something be screwed on my account?

Very possible...
Try editing your profile and re-confirming your e-mail address by changing it and then changing it back. If that doesn't work, we'll have to have someone take a look at it from the dev end.

Thanks - have just tried changing email address, confirming, changing it back and confirming.

Still the same issue - no heart at the top. Nothing under "My Threads"...

I'd appreciate someone looking at this for me :)

Thanks.

Just a thought, but the issue may be arising as a result of you using a .co.uk e-mail address while posting in the US forums. I'm still getting the hang of things here, and I'm not completely sure what fancy IP routing work we've got going on with the servers to deliver which versions of Tom's to who, but note that there is in fact a UK and a US version. Might be getting messed up there in terms of user info.

I am almost certain that anything posted on the US site will not show in My Threads on the UK site, however if you stick to the same domain it should work. Granted, it is the UK board, which "should" do alot of things but doesn't.

I don't have a choice. I go to the .com address and immediately it seems to detect my locality and redirects to the .co.uk

Why can't us UK users have a working site? How long has TomsHardware been going...?!?!
I'm damned sure that if it was the other way around it would be working bl00dy quick :)
