Nothing working in PC

I recently installed the fan hub included with my enermax tb fans into my pc and when connecting it to my motherboard and starting my system I heard a loud pop and began to smell smoke. My motherboards leds no longer turned on and i lost all control from the front panel of my case and could only shut down my system from the powersupply. I bought another motherboard that I planned on testing the rest of my components on and after assembling a test bed, the system does not start. Could a fan hub have damaged all the components in my PC? If so should I contact enermax, or should I try and get all my parts rma'd?

What are the full specs of your system (PSU, etc.)? That might have caused from an improperly connected interface. Describe EXACTLY what you hooked the fan hub up to.
