Noticeable differences between 780 TI and 980?

I have 2x 780 TI, and obviously I know that there's 5% performance difference (literally 3-5 FPS in games and so on). Is it worth upgrading? If you'll look well, you can get 780 TI for £385, whereas 980 is about £430-440?

Solution
performance wise the difference is negligible. power supply is a cost issue. seeing as gm204 is roughly pulling 200w per card with a stock limited overclock.... many could get by just fine with a quality 650w power supply powering sli gm204s and a single i7 overclocked. with the gk110 parts, you can definitely push over 300w per card at which point most would want a much higher wattage unit, 750w would likely work, but most would want a little more which would be 850w. so if this is a new build, you dont have a power supply above 750w, or your 750w supply is aging, you need to factor in the cost.

Not sure where you are finding a 780 Ti for that cheap. Primary difference is in the power consumption; the 980 simply uses much less overall power than the 780 Ti. Better performance + lower power usage = better overall value. Not really worth upgrading from a 780 Ti unless power usage is a concern.

Well, 5% performance boost? Is it worth it? Not really (I think). I bought 2x 780 TI recently (before 980 and 970 came out) so yeah (£385 each, also brand-new and free games along with them). I have 1000W brand-new Corsair PSU.
