I got Novus 1,2,3 and would like to use these on my pin...
What is the correct order ? Can 3 be used on playfield itself etc...

Thx

Novus 2 is made for plastics also...... it just happens to work well to
clean painted/inked wood

I skip novus 1 on most machines it shines it up for a bit and then
dulls. I only use it for plastics although windex works just as well
(more streaky though)

Well personally i dont use Novus 3 on playfields at all, and i dont
think its intended to be ? .. I dont use it Novus 3 at all anymore and
when i did it was on metal parts, now i use Nevr-Dull :)

Use Novus 2 on your playfield when your happy with the result give it a
going over with Novus 1

Novus 2 is not a wax, it's a polish. Novus 1 is a mild cleaner.

You should use your favorite wax on the playfield after using these
products.

I cant really answer that, i havnt waxed a playfield before... Novus 2
then 1 did the job fine on my a couple of my previous machines and made
gameplay ALOT faster, so i doubt a wax would be necessary after a good
"Novusing" but dont hold me to that :)

I use Novus 2 and elbow grease to clean and polish prior to waxing the
PF. I use Novus 1 for cleaning the PF and rubbers in between waxings.
Spray Novus 1 onto a soft rag first, wipe the black dust from playfield
and rubbers then polish with a soft dry rag. Don't spray Novus 1
directly into the machine... Most people seem to prefer a hard paste
wax. I like Eagle One Nano Wax - it leaves no white residue or dust
and plays fast as hell.

Never use # 3 on a pinball machine. It is just like using Comet Cleaner
on it---you'll destroy the playfield.

If playfield is heavily soiled, #3 is fine for the initial polish but
use it sparingly. It's not as harsh as Comet. I wouldn't do a
playfield more than once with 3 though, you really are taking off the
top layer of ink or clearcoat along with the dirt. Same really as
using the Mr Clean magic eraser which folks are in love with right now.

I have never used Novus 1 on my pf. It says that it is a plastic
cleaner, why would you use it on a pf? Novus 2 to remove the dirt and
debris and then wax. Novus 1 is for cleaning plastics parts on my
opinion, not an entire pf.

I'm also a novice with novus,should you use a wax after 2 & 1, or is 1 like
a wax....?

Exactly what I do. Novus 2 for aggressive cleanings and Novus 1 for
touch-ups between major cleanings.

Novus 3 I use as an additive with the corncob media in my vibrating
polisher, but never on the machine or any plastics.

I've never used wax on any of my games. No need to...they are too damn fast
as they are. ;-)

Yes, you should wax after cleaning as Novus
provides no protection.

DO NOT wax if this game is going to be
operated for coin. The wax will just collect
dirt and metal particles, and make a mess
in a very short time. At home, you can keep
a check on this where as on location, it's
not very easy. Cleaning is good enough for
commercial use.

Ditch the Novus 1 and 3.

All you need is Novus 2. (Followed by a good quality wax)

Thanks for all the info... did some tests today..
I have a much better and much cheaper cleaner product : CIF power creme...
it cleans playfield, plastics, metal, everything...

From now on that's all I need... CIF and then wax and everything shines :)
No more Novus required 😉
