Hello,

This may be a dumb question but does anyone know how to get a Security
Policy created under a Win NT PDC to work on a Windows 98 machine?? Is it
also possible to get it to work on a Win 2000 Professional Machine??

Our company is planning to upgrade but for the time being, if it ain't broke
don't fix it.

Many Thanks,

Mark Ornelas

Win9x cannot use policies created by an NT4 policy.

Use poledit from Win9x to create the policies then save it in the Netlogon
share with the name config.pol
I can't find the article at this time, but I do have the original Microsoft
Profiles and Policies word document for this if you will email me direct I
can send it to you.
