NT4 or W98 ?

Simple question - i'm building a pc and have a choice of either NT4 or W98. Any suggestions as to which one is best?
It's an Athlon XP1800+ with 256Mbram

Why would you use either? Is there an application that won't work on Win2K or WinXP? I would recommend either one of those OSes before Win9x or WinNT.

It depends on what you are using the system for. If it's for games, then go Win98. If it's for Business apps (Word Processor, Spreadsheet etc.) or for a basic proxy or firewall server I'd use Windows NT. Not certain as to how well NT runs on an AMD system though.

office apps I'd still stick with 98. The other stuff I'd go for 2K.
