Hello -

I am using ntbackup to back up data to an external drive. Ntbackup kicks out
this error:

The requested media is not blank. It was created by another application. Do
you want to continue?

KB295159 and another one referencing the above error do not apply. Any ideas?

Thanks!!!

If the external drive is formatted with FAT or FAT32, it can not hold a backup larger than 4GB.

Hi Jerold -

It's formatted in NTFS. I took the simple route - I renamed to old data
file and I allowed ntbackup to create a new one. That seemed to have worked.
My client rotates external drives once a week. That may have something to do
with it.
