NTLDR is missing

When i start my computer, i receive the error message "NTLDR is missing. Press ctrl + alt + del to restart."

When i Press ctrl + alt + del to restart." it goes back again to display the error message. i have tried to boot from hard drive and to boot by windows xp but experience the same problem.

someone help me out there

Do you have an XP cd?

The boot sector is damaged.
You basically just need to boot with your XP cd and get into Recovery Console and type "fixboot" without the quotations and then type "exit" without the quotations.

I am not able to reach xp set up stage. immediatly after press any key to boot from cd
the error message pops out.

Are you using factory dvd from Microsoft and not a self-burned copy?
