NTOP UPGRADE

Greetings

ntop has been invaluable to see which machine is hogging our limited internet link bandwidth, and to show what that user is doing. But our ntop's host XP machine is going to be replaced with Windows 7. I'm wondering what program to run on 7 to replace ntop?

We are monitoring around 75 devices. We are a non-profit in a "third-world" location and the latest ntop, ntopng, is no longer free, its unaffordable for us. Our ntop version is from 2003.

Will the last free version, 4.0.1 from 2011-04-03 ("compatible with All 32-bit MS Windows (95/98/NT/2000/XP)" install on 7? A couple of hurdles are, the test machine I have to try it on, is 64bit. Plus I havent been able to find a windows installer for 4.0.1

Has anyone got free ntop running on Windows 7? what version? is there an installer?

What free software are people using instead of ntop, to monitor individual's internet link bandwidth use?

Thank you so much

There's no problem when UPgrading to another Operation system.. you just have to meet the minimum requirements of your NTOP..
change drivers if needed and also for you information NTOP is allowing UNIX/WINDOWS to operate.. so theres nothing wrong with the change of operating system.. atleast there are upgrades right?
So when the upgrade is near.. try to search some additional information regarding with the networking and your internet connection..
If that helps well choose me as you solution.. :) Happy to Serve/
