So recently had a BSOD after I told the PC to shut down. Upon running a viewer on the dump file, it said that the bug check string was "Reference_By_Pointer" and that the offending driver was from ntoskrnl.exe (more specifically, ntoskrnl.exe_f4dad) I've recently updated my drivers and this isn't the first time that ntoskrnl.exe caused a BSOD. Is there way to determine exactly what part of the driver is acting up? Or is it something else? thanks

Solution
I would disable / uninstall gigabyte on/off. This is a known cause of crashes.

I would also uninstall / disable easytune and Dynamic Energy Saver Advanced. If theyre installed.
