Number keys above letters on keyboard dont work properly not keyboard because i

numers above letters on keyboard do not work properly tried new keyboard same thing region is set right keys type last letter i hit doesn't matter what number i hit if the last key hit was a s all number will come up as an s

My computer is a Gateway laptop and I am having the same problem. Let me know how you fixed yours please.
