Hi, I am planning on getting a pc, but don'y really know how many case fans to get. My case has one 120mm up front, and one 120mm at the back. I am getting a 140mm fan for the front too. Do you think that would be sufficient for a good gaming/3d modeling rig?

Thanks, Theuns

Yes, two additional 140mm in the front would even be enough..

I think the case comes only with one 120mm fan though.
Hi, sorry for the late reply. I am using the Corsair Carbide SPEC-03 case, the i5 8600k, and the msi 1080 x gaming. Do you think I must install a 120mm on top? Maybe two?

You want your video card being hit by fresh cool air. The two intake fans in the front just do that. Having more exhaust fans will only lead to dust building up inside your case (negative pressure compared to air pressure outside your case keeps the dust in)

You will be just fine with 3 case fans!

That answer is wrong the spec3 has no intake filters so your going to build up dust anyhow.
I would move the installed front fan to the top back blowing out and install 2 X 140mm fans in the front blowing in.

What do you recommend if i choose to take the ThermalTake Versa N24 case? Would two 140mm in front and the two included 120mm fans at the back be enough?
