I have the following configuration:

AMD RYZEN 5 2400G Quad-Core 3.6 G
ASUS Prime A320M-K AMD Ryzen AM4 DDR4 HDMI VGA M.2 Micro-ATX A320 Motherboard
XPG Z1 DDR4 3200MHz (PC4 25600) 16GB (2x8GB) 288-Pin Memory Modules
WD Black 500GB High-Performance NVMe PCIe Internal SSD - M.2 2280,
CORSAIR CX Series CX450 450W ATX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply
Cooler Master MasterBox Q300L mATX Case

The case came with one exhaust fan, and motherboard has only one 4-pin case fan connector. Should I add zero, one, or two intake fans, and can I use a splitter cable to add these fans. (No overclocking, motherboard case fan connector supports up to 1 amp; Rosewill fans draw 0.16 amps each)

I would add 2 front intake fans and 1 top exhaust fan.
My case (Rosewill Challenger mid tower) has 3 120 mm intake fans and 1 120 mm rear exhaust fan and 1 140 mm top exhaust fan.
I keep the intakes running slightly faster than the exhaust fans and it has excellent airflow.
My Ryzen 7 3700x idles around 32-34c and maxes out around 60-62c after hours of gaming.

Just want to say thanks to all who replied so promptly. The responses were all helpful. I'm going to start with one exhaust fan at the back and two intake fans on the front. Then I will check temperatures.
