How many monitors can this setup support?

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 1800X 3.6GHz 8-Core Processor
Motherboard: Asus - PRIME X370-PRO ATX AM4 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB AORUS Video Card x2 (2-Way SLI)
Operating System: Microsoft - Windows 10 Pro Full 32/64-bit ($199.99 @ B&H)

Solution
Depends on resolutions but:
Something like a total of 14 1080p displays with Displayport Splitters.
Or only 4 without spiltters. (one of the HDMI and DVI ports are linked, so you have to use one or the other)

the 2nd SLI'd card doesn't provide extra ports.

Also SLI is a dying/unsupported feature, so you're largely wasting your money.

You can split a displayport 1.2 (or above) up to 4 times at 1080p, 5 at less res, and less as you increase resolutions.
