numerous windows

Just now when I went to close out This Hardware community, it would not close. Instead of closing it started opening windows in this community by the dozens. I had to shut down Explorer. I had 38 open and it keep opening as fast as I closed. I have no virus and do run 2 spyware programs , Counter spy and spy doctor.I run PC-Cillian. Has anyone experienced this. Bruce

I have had it do that before. Never did find out what it was. Its possible that maybe the alt key, ctrl key or shift key was pressed when you clicked on close. If it doesnt do it everytime then dont worry about it.

I nice little experiment would be to run mozilla for a couple days. If the problem doesn't happen with mozilla, you can be sure that the problem is on your side of the phone line (which I'm sure we all believe it to be anyway). You could also try to reinstall Explorer, as it may just be a little corrupted, if you are sure it's not a spyware issue
