NUMPAD Slash (divide) acts as Escape.

My laptop's "/" (divide) key on the numpad acts as both divide and Esc... If I use it in Calc, it will erase the calculation. If I use it in a game, it will open up that game's menu (or whatever happens when you press escape usually). When I use it on google, it'll write a slash but also do a Select All (which happens when you press esc). This is utterly annoying and I need to get it fixed. Any help is appreciated.

Checked all regional settings and also tried with an USB keyboard, USB keyboard works good.. I'm starting to think my laptop keyboard is defective... It's a shame, its the only key having trouble

It happened all the time with my two HP laptops. I replaced it under warranty, but it does it again after a few months. I observed this happens more in humid conditions. Maybe it just shorts the keys.

Now I use an external KBD or the on screen keyboard 🙁
