Nv4_disp dll blue screen

Hello,
3.11 Dual core AMD Athelon, ASUS m2n mb, geforce 9600gt 1gb, 4gb ram (brand new ram) 680w power supply, windows xp pro. only bsod i get now is the NV4_disp.dll while running lotro. It seems the bsod only happens while playing games.

You probably need to update your graphics driver. That error is pointing to the NVidia display driver. You can get the updated driver here.

I did update the most current driver (10-25-10) I thought it was ram based since I was getting the page fault error as well, but since I switched the Ram I only get the NV4 error and only during game play, where I was getting the page fault and others randomly. I disabled my old sound card as well as I use a usb headset now. The exact code I get is

I am running SP3, I had this same configuration before and before the recent crashes starting approx Dec 2 with an AVG file which I have removed. Could it be my graphics card itself? this is crazy

Boot into safe mode, and use driver sweeper to remove all graphics drivers.

Then try reinstalling the most recent driver.

If that doesn't solve the issue, try a BIOS update.

Now I am getting Page Fault bsod again, but I have not gotten the usb.sys again. Could it be my motherboard? or my video card?

That can be caused by a few things. I would start by running with 1 RAM chip at a time, or scanning with memtest86.

Tested with 1 ram at a time did the same bsod each time. I cant test the Ram on my video card though (it has a 1G chip) but my video card is a geforce 9600gt 1G, I did realize that the company I used to build the cpu did put a sparkle brand video card in there? I wonder if that is a bad card.
