problem solved?
I've been fighting with this for a few days. Fresh install of Win2K
Server SP4, and latest nVidia drivers (66.93). BSOD on every re-boot.
One clue was to search the registry for NV4, where I noticed that in
each of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet???\Services\nv and
....\CurrentControlSet\Services\nv keys, ImagePath was set to system32\
DRIVERS\ nv4_mini.sys instead of %SystemRoot%\ system32\ DRIVERS\
nv4_mini.sys
All other keys appears to have %SystemRoot%\ included in the path
(where necessary)
Without %SystemRoot%\ included in the path, Windows is trying to find
the driver in the WRONG folder path. resulting in the BSOD -- unable
to load (or find) NV4_mini.sys file .
