nvcontainer.exe running my CPU up to 100% shortly after startup

Shortly after I start my computer each day one of the nvcontainer.exe processes starts to gobble up ram and both my ram usage and CPU usage climb with it to 100%. It get's so bad at this point that I can't even open task manager to shut it down forcing me to hold down the power button as a final solution (if I forget to kill the process early on or am away from the PC).

I have done a clean install of all Nvidia software and drivers and was rid of it for a few weeks but then a new build came out the other week and the problem has reemerged.

Reinstall your driver. Select custom install. Install ONLY the video driver, PhysX, and if needed, the HDMI sound driver. Do NOT install the 3D stuff or GeForce Experience.

Will not installing the 3D stuff impact my ability to play games?
