Ye been making a few posts lately, but Is there a noticable difference between the graphical output from a GTX 660 or a GTX760? mainly for Shogun 2 and Rome 2 , But also other games Such as Battlefield 4, Far Cry 3? Cant decide whether worth an extra 115 NZD

The 760 is better, of course. Generally 10-20% better. For example, from 30 fps with a 660 to 35 fps with a 760.

However, the 660 is generally considered a better deal in the price/performance ratio since they go for about $200, whereas the 760 sits at about $250 (in my country). That's a 25% increase in cost for a 10-20% increase in performance.

I'm not sure about the other games, but you'll be happier with a 760 in Far Cry 3. The extra bit of performance makes the difference between high settings and ultra settings in FC3. I know from experience that my 660 is just a little too weak to really max FC3 in some places.

for once try to forget gpu boss. power consumption wise GTX660 will use much less power but at the same time it also use less power. 660 only using 1 6-pin while 760 will use 2.

@OP

760 is faster. but the price different is quite big in your country. in US the price difference is around USD50 between the two which is about NZD57. for NZD115 more (which is around USD100) you can get 280X in US which is about as fast as 770
