On NVEMe; what is a key? I mean, on the costumer reviews someone said something about a "key"
Is this compatible with an MSI X470 Pro mobo? The board manual state that M.2_1 slot is PCIe 3.0 x 4. I don't really see a problem but I just want to be sure. This's what I want to install: Silicon Power 1TB NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 M.2 2280 TLC. Would I have any compatibility issues?

I'm assuming you mean NVMe? NVMe is the interface, M.2 would be the form factor which is 'keyed'.

The "key" is the layout of the connector - they're 'keyed' to only fit in one way, and various 'keys' exist which can restrict compatibility.

For the most part, you're looking at key "M" for M.2 SSDs.
