Does anyone know if the new GPU streaming thing is any good?? I've been looking it up and keep getting confused, just wondering because I'm building a computer soon and if the new GPU streaming is good then I may switch my CPU to the i9 9700 k instead of the r7 3700x. I would like to stream a 1080p60fps... how is 1440p? I dought ill do that but if I can still get the good performance I would. if anybody can help give me a more clear answer that would be appreciated.

"the new GPU streaming thing " is around since the gtx650 from 2012...
My 1050ti can do 4k 60fps recording no problem,of course final results also depends on how demanding the game is.
I record at 1080p/60fps normally and the impact is practically zero.
You just need huge upload speeds if you intent to stream but that would be the same if you would do it with the CPU.

oh ok so streaming with like xfinity and a 2080 or 2080 ti i would be just fine
